Marc J. Madou
UC Irvine/ Tecnológico de Monterrey
Renowned researcher in miniaturization sciences (micro- and nano-electromechanical systems). He´s been a Distinguished Professor at the University of California Irvine and at the Materials Research Center at Ohio State University.
Rossana Madrid
EE and Ph.D. in Bioengineering. Her main research fields include sensors and biosensors, microfluidic systems and paper-based POC devices for biomedical and environmental applications.
Maria Luisa Cordero
Universidad de Chile
An expert in “laboratories on a chip”, she builds microfluidic experimental setups to study the dynamics of water droplets confined in microchannels and thus understand and predict their behavior when exposed to external flow.
Johann F. Osma
Universidad de Los Andes
He specialized in the development of bionanomaterials and bionanocomposites for the industry; and the development of microsystems, and biosensors for the treatment and measurement of wastewaters, pathogens and pollutants.
José Alberto F. da Silva
UNICAMP
He has experience in Chemistry, with an emphasis on Analytical Instrumentation, working mainly on: analytical instrumentation, capillary electrophoresis, electrochemical and fluorescence detection and analysis microsystems (Lab on a Chip).
Jaione Tirapu Azpiroz
IBM Research - Brazil
Researcher currently leading the computational modeling of carbon dioxide sequestration within porous media and the interfacing with on chip experimentation. She has experience in microfluidics, point of care devices, electromagnetics, optical lithography and microfabrication.
Claudio L. A. Berli
Universidad Nacional del Litoral
Researcher at CONICET and professor at Universidad Nacional del Litoral. Has a huge knowledge in microfluidics, with several articles in this area.
Wendell Coltro
UFG - Universidade Federal de Goiás
He has experience in Analytical Chemistry with an emphasis on Analytical Instrumentation, Microfabrication, Microfluidics, Electrophoresis, Electrochemical Detection and Chemical Sensors.
Marcelo Javier Kogan
Universidad de Chile
He is a Biochemist and a Pharmacist and his interests are centered on applications of nanobiomaterials in biomedicine for diagnosis and treatment of conformational diseases.
